The 2010 Small Business Conference theme is “Start. Build. Conquer.”, reflecting the stages that small businesses go through as they grow from emergent companies into successful mid-tier businesses.  Sessions in this year’s conference are designed to provide information and assistance to all sizes of small businesses, as well as to those from the government who work with them.  With topics covering small business legislative issues, government contract acquisitions and vehicles, preparing and evaluating winning proposals, and acquiring and managing the resources needed to succeed, the 2010 Small Business Conference is the perfect opportunity for small businesses and government to collaborate on driving government success.

Recognizing the importance of small businesses to the government IT community, ACT-IAC sponsors a conference each spring focused on the unique needs and benefits of small businesses.  The conference is intended to provide information to help small businesses succeed in the government marketplace and to promote the value of small businesses to the government and large corporations seeking small business partners.  The conference is held in the Washington, DC metro area and draws approximately 250 attendees from industry and government.
