IAC has been a major part of my business and personal networking since the mid 1990’s. There are so many memories of fun, work, and play. In the “old days”, a year’s worth of networking could occur in one evening of ELC which is still the most anticipated event of the year! One of the first (of many) projects I supported was working with Deane Stanley, Mike Kush, Alan Balutis and other dedicated “IT Community” leaders to conduct the very first IAC CIO Best Practices study. We all worked hard and learned a lot! Jerry Ely and I teamed up and had the opportunity to interview and interact with some of the government’s brightest and best as we worked and laughed our way through the study. There is no other organization in my view that provides the value that IAC offers with the opportunities to make a difference and contribute in a real way aiding government/industry collaboration. We appreciate the ability to build on those long term relationships established “way back when” and establish new ones, too. I can’t imagine not being part of IAC or ELC for that matter and all our clients either are or soon become members also. Thanks IAC!
