The structured sessions were excellent in developing my understanding of the complexities and subtleties in the interaction and motivations behind contractors, Executive Branch government officials (appointees vs. career employees), Congressional interests and the media. The informal sessions cemented the knowledge gained in the formal setting and helped me build relationships with colleagues that were a key part of an education that I will value for years to come. INDUSTRY CLASS OF '97
The Partners Program was one of the best learning experiences in my Federal career. I not only expanded my network to other Government and Industry officials, but also gained a greater appreciation of how to state requirements to allow flexibility to industry in solving our IT problems. The Federal Government and Industry is well served by this type of training opportunity. GOV'T CLASS OF '98
The program provided me with an opportunity to meet other information technology professionals in the Federal Government. In addition to the business relationship, it is always a pleasure to meet other professionals in a setting that allows for discussion on issues, problems and challenges facing the industry. INDUSTRY CLASS OF '98
The program promotes partnership not only by allowing the government and industry partners to share learning experiences, but, more importantly, by allowing the partners to learn how to share (e.g., common problems, innovative solutions). GOV'T CLASS OF '99
Being a part of the Partners Program is probably the most rewarding thing I've done in my career to date. Not only was I able to build strong professional relationships with many different people from industry and government, but also I learn from my partner just how dedicated government employees are to doing their best for the benefit of the general public. The Partners Program is a key avenue that will allow industry and government to continue to strengthen a bond necessary for the future success of our government. INDUSTRY CLASS OF '01
The Partners Program broadened my perspective, and reaffirmed my understanding that government and industry must communicate well and work together to achieve success. GOV'T CLASS OF '02
| The Partners Program provided me the opportunity to "see" the challenges my peers in the Government and Industry are faced with and often the creative ways they have addressed these challenges. GOV'T CLASS OF '02 | |

The IAC IT Partners Program is an executive development program for "rising stars" in government and industry with high potential for future advancement. The program has graduated its twelfth class at the Executive Leadership Conference (ELC) in October 2008. The overall goal of the program is to prepare future government and industry information technology leaders for the roles they will fill at the Senior Executive Service and company officer level. Program participants are first nominated, through this application process, by their respective company or agency sponsors, then each pass the scrutiny of a panel of senior executives from government and industry.
