Getting involved 

To get involved in the American Council for Technology:

• Become a member - government memberships are free - just create an account! 
• Attend a committee meeting, program or conference. 
• Volunteer for a Shared Interest Group Government Advisory Panel or a conference planning committee. 
• Nominate a government program for recognition in the Excellence.gov or Intergovernmental Solutions awards programs. 
• Nominate an up and coming individual on your staff for the Building a Public Service Legacy program.
• Apply for the Partners or Voyagers professional development programs. 
• Participate in the development of the ACT annual Strategic IT Agenda. 
• Identify a subject of interest to your organization that would be appropriate for the Government Speaker Series.
• Identify an IT issue on which you would like information or advice
