Welcome to the home of the American Council for Technology (ACT) and its Industry Advisory Council (IAC). As President of ACT, I would like to thank you for your visit and encourage you to get involved to leverage technology for the mission and business of government.
For more than 25 years, government leaders have met and collaborated through ACT to create strategies for more effectively and efficiently using technology. ACT individual members, member councils and strategic partners work together through education, programs and networking to make progress towards the organization’s mission of Leading the IT Community to Improve Government. ACT also established the Industry Advisory Council in 1989 as an objective forum through which technology industry leaders could also network and come together with ACT government participants in a spirit of open communication and progress to the benefit of government and its citizens.
