ACT Councils
ACT has created two councils to assist in accomplishing the organization's mission.
- Industry Advisory Council (IAC) - provides an objective and ethical forum for government to collaborate with the private sector information technology industry.
- Intergovernmental Advisory Board (IAB) -- fosters communication and collaboration between IT executives at all levels of government -- Federal, state, local and tribal.
Both IAC and IAB are represented on the ACT Board of Directors.

Chapters
ACT is committed to serving the entire government IT community. Government employees throughout the United States -- and at all levels of government -- are eligible and encouraged to participate in ACT. Where there is interest in creating a local organization where government and industry executives can collaborate on IT issues, ACT will consider the establishment of a chapter. There are currently active organizations in San Diego, CA (ACT-IAC Pacific) and Denver, CO (ACT-IAC Rocky Mountain). If you would like more information about participating in these Chapters or creating a chapter in your region, contact April Davis.
