Better Government IT Project The Better Government IT project is an ongoing activity to improve government-industry communication and collaboration in the IT acquisition process. The working group is initially focusing on working with the Administration to implement items 24 and 25 of the OMB plan and will address other issues where appropriate.

The CEOG provides the strategic vision for how government services can be delivered in the next 10-15 years. While government initiatives such as the 25 Point IT Implementation Plan, Data.gov, and the Open Government Directive offer tactical solutions to the problems confronting government, the CEOG offers the first strategic vision for how all of these pieces might be aligned to provide a collaborative, and open government platform capable of serving its citizens in an agile and adaptive manner.
