Getting Involved
Getting Involved
IAC can help companies and individuals achieve success in the government IT marketplace.
As with any investment, what you get out of it depends on what you put into it.
There are a
number of ways to get involved:
Attend an IAC Membership Meeting
.
Every other month IAC sponsors a meeting (free to
IAC members) with a speaker or panel of government executives followed by a
networking reception
Attend a Program Event or Shared Interest Group meeting
.
Experience the process by
attending a committee meeting or information exchange with government executives.
Get valuable information and meet your peers
Join the Program Committee or SIG.
Become a member of a committee or SIG and
participate in creating programs and drafting white papers.
Get involved; contribute
your expertise; learn from other experts
Join a Conference Planning Committee.
One of the most valuable
benefits of IAC is to participate in
conference planning
- where you get to work closely with government executives.
A great way to build
relationships
Apply for Partners or Voyagers.
Those interested in professional development may apply for the
Partners Program (senior executives) or Voyagers Program (rising mid-level employees).
Applications
are accepted once each year
Nominate your program for an Award.
Each year ACT-IAC recognizes excellence in IT programs.
Bring visibility to programs through the nominating process
Become a Leader.
With over 80 appointed or elected positions, there are many leadership
opportunities available
Become a Sponsor.
ACT-IAC depends upon corporate contributions to support its activities.
Your
sponsorship will help this unique collaborative forum to continue
