As the 2011 – 2012 American Council of Technology – Industry Advisory Council Chair I would like welcome you to the ACT-IAC website. It is our intention to provide members and prospective members of the organization an information portal of our guiding principles, activities, events and opportunities to participate. The theme for the coming term is Collaborate!
The ACT-IAC partnership is unique as we are the only association that as its founding and guiding principle is collaboration between government and industry to improve the use of information technology to better serve the citizens of the U.S.
The partnership has over 20 years of history of improving government through the use of IT. I ask you to review this web portal for information on our organization. If there are any questions about activities, how to get involved, volunteering, improvements or issues not addressed please do not hesitate to contact me at jbeaupre@actgov.org. Except for a small staff headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia our entire agenda is driven by government and industry volunteers, please do not hesitate to join the collaboration effort and contribute!
