Ken Allen (703-208-4800x204) joined ACT-IAC in 2005 as its Executive Director. Prior to joining ACT-IAC, Ken was Executive Director of the Partnership for Public Warning (PPW) and CEO of the National Newspaper Association (NNA) -- the largest newspaper association in the United States. He moved to NNA after 10 years with the Information Industry Association (IIA) which represented over 800 leading IT companies. In his role as Senior Vice President for Government Relations he played a major role in the enactment of landmark IT legislation, including the Computer Security Act and Electronic Communications Privacy Act. As IIA president he helped create and provided the leadership for the Global Alliance of Information Industry Associations, a network of information industry associations in over 30 countries. Prior to his work in the non-profit community, Ken was a senior staff member in the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs at the U.S. Office of Management and Budget. His responsiblities included overseeing the acquisition and management of government IT resources and administration of the Privacy Act of 1974. He played a leading role in iimplementing the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980 and did some of the initial work regarding government policies dealing with information access and dissemination. His awards include being a 2009 recipient of the Fed 100. Ken holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois and a Master's Degree in Management and Administration from George Washington University. |

Don Becker (703-208-4800x221) joined ACT-IAC in 2003. He serves as Senior Manager, Communications and Web Services. In this role, Don is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the www.actgov.org portal, preparing the iACtion Newsletter and iACTion Planner, database maintenance and providing assistance with government outreach. Don Previously served as the organization's Customer Service Manager through 2007. Prior to joining ACT-IAC, Don held various positions at the Reston Hyatt Regency. Don holds a BA in Government and International Politics from George Mason University. |

Miranda Braatz (703-208-4800x224) joined ACT-IAC in September 2009 as the Government Programs and Member Support Coordinator. In this role, Miranda supports the Director of Government Programs and provides member support. Prior to joining ACT-IAC, Miranda worked on political campaigns and worked in Public Affairs for the Elliott School of International Affairs where she assisted with coordinating events. Miranda holds a BA in Political Science from George Washington University. |

April Davis (703-208-4800x202) joined ACT-IAC in 2004. As Associate Director of Membership, she manages IAC membership support programs including membership engagement, retention and communications. Prior to joining ACT-IAC, April worked for Gifts In Kind International, a leader in the field of product philanthropy. In that role, she worked as a Donation Placement Manager providing an effective conduit for the donation of products, goods and services from the private sector to the charitable sector. April holds a BA in Communications from George Mason University. |

Glenda Henning (703-208-4800 x203) Deputy Executive Director. Joining ACT-IAC in 2008, Glenda brought perspectives gained from experience in both the non-profit arena as well as private sector IT. In her current role, Glenda acts as a close partner to the Executive Director in shaping and furthering the strategic direction of the organization. She also holds direct responsibility for strategic management of Membership, Sponsorships, Shared Interest Groups, Marketing/Communications and General Operations. Previously, Glenda served as Sr. Director of Membership and Marketing for the Investment Advisor Association and fulfilled responsibilities in the Information Technology arena with roles such as V.P. Operations for Hitachi Innovative Solutions. Glenda’s expertise lies on the "people" side of business and in effective design and implementation of programs. Glenda holds a dual BS in Psychology and Sociology from the University of the State of New York.

Sarah Lindenau (703-208-4800x207) joined ACT-IAC in 2006 as its Director, Government Programs. She manages programs and coordinates outreach efforts in order to increase government participation. Prior to joining ACT-IAC, Sarah served as the Associate Director for Management and Technology at the Council for Excellence in Government where she developed and implemented the CIO Boot Camp in 2004 and 2005 and also served as the Program Manager for the CIO-SAGE program. She also worked as a Senior Consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton serving in IT capital planning roles for the Department of Housing and the Department of Education. Additionally, Sarah served as the CIO Council Program Manager while on a contract with the General Services Administration. Her Previous experience includes budget analysis roles with Fairfax County ' s Office of Management and Budget and the State of Illinois ' s Bureau of the Budget. Sarah holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Economy from James Madison College of Michigan State University, as well as a Masters of Public Administration from Syracuse University ' s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. |

Jennifer Lingan (703-208-4800x208) joined ACT-IAC in January 2007. She serves as Associate Director, Professional Development & Education. Prior to joining ACT-IAC, Jennifer worked for the National Business Travel Association (NBTA) as their Meeting, Events and Production Specialist. In this role Jennifer was in charge of the planning and execution of their domestic events as well as managing the Production of NBTA's General Sessions at the Association's annual International Convention, rated the best in the travel industry. Jennifer holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Elon College and has also earned her Masters in Tourism Administration with Event Management from the School of Business at George Washington University .

Charlene Nieman (703-208-4800x205) joined ACT-IAC in 2008. As Associate Director, Sponsorship & Chapter Development, Charlene manages all conference and event sponsorships as well as the support and growth of IAC Chapters and Regional memberships. Previously, Charlene was with the American Land Title Association (ALTA) serving as Grassroots & PAC Manager in the Government Affairs Department. Her main areas of responsibility included raising money for the Title Industry Political Action Committee (TIPAC) and identifying/cultivating relationships between ALTA members and Members of Congress. She has also worked in government affairs for the Direct Selling Association and Ernst & Young LLP and holds a B.A. in Political Science from Longwood University in Farmville, VA.

Angela Owens (703-208-4800x206) joined ACT-IAC in June of 2008 as its Member Support Representative. In this role Angela serves as the first point of engagement for members and manages customer relations. Prior to joining ACT-IAC, Angela worked for PAETEC Communications where she was the Sales Office Coordinator and performed a wide variety of administrative responsibilities. She also managed all new sales and order confirmations of T1 and telephone orders. Angela's duties encompass an array of bookkeeping and order processing duties. |

Erica Pomroy (703-208-4800x216) joined ACT-IAC in 2008 and currently serves as Associate Director, Program Events. Erica works with the Program Committee and manages the various luncheons, dinners and other key events that they sponsor. Her previous experience includes both domestic and international meeting planning for other member organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Niagara University in Hotel/Restaurant Administration. |

Matthew Rogers (703-208-4800x109) joined ACT-IAC in February, 2010, as Communications and Systems Support Specialist. In this role, Matt is responsible for providing support to ACT-IAC’s membership and to its mission of effective collaboration. His duties include knowledge and support of the organization’s AMS system, website and social media environments. Matthew holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Liberty University. |

Kristyn Rivellese (703-208-4800 x223) joined ACT-IAC in August 2009 as the Director of Events and Conferences. In this role, Kristyn manages ACT-IAC’s two marquis events: the Executive Leadership Conference (ELC) and Management of Change Conference (MOC), in addition to the organization’s year round events. Prior to joining ACT-IAC, Kristyn worked for 1105 Government Information Group as the Director of Executive Events for nearly 8 years. In this role she managed, produced and executed the company’s executive events including the Federal 100, GCN Gala and CIO Summits. Kristyn was responsible for logistics, budgeting, strategic planning and maintaining client and vendor relationships. Kristyn holds a BS in Psychology and Sociology from Virginia Tech. |

John Shaw (703-208-4800 x222) joined ACT-IAC in January, 2009. As Associate Director, Shared Interest Groups, John supports the leadership and members of the SIGs by acting as program manager for this area. Prior to joining ACT-IAC, John worked as Industry Liaison Specialist at GTSI where he was a corporate representative to government, industry and professional associations. He was Industry Co-Secretary for AFFIRM last year and continues to serve on AFFIRM’s Board of Directors. John holds a BA in English from Old Dominion University. |
