ACT-IAC Academy
Established in 2011, the ACT-IAC Academy is one component of the professional development offerings for federal government employees and the private sector. The Academy strives to create a unique learning environment for professionals serving the federal IT marketplace. The Academy distinguishes itself through its emphasis on the collaboration, experiential learning, and sharing of real world examples among government and industry to complement the key course takeaways.
Associates Program
The Associates program prepares entry-level professionals for their future roles as leaders in government and industry. Each candidate must be recommended by an executive in his or her respective company or agency, complete an application, and meet the criteria for the Program. The Associates program fosters career growth through coaching and classroom training as well as independent and team exercises. Associates learn professional skills and develop a broader view of the business world. The Associates Program aims to provide essential personal, team, and career skills about professional culture and practices not taught in any other curriculum.
Partners Program
The ACT-IAC Partners Program is an executive development program for "rising stars" in government and industry with high potential for future advancement. The overall goal of the program is to prepare future government and industry information technology leaders for the roles they will fill at the Senior Executive Service and company officer level. Program participants are first nominated, through this application process, by their respective company or agency sponsors, then each pass the scrutiny of a panel of senior executives from government and industry.
Voyagers Program
The ACT-IAC Voyagers Program is a leadership development program for "rising stars" in government and industry with high potential for future advancement. The objective of the program is to prepare mid-level managers for their future roles in industry and government. Each prospective program participant must be nominated by his or her respective company or agency sponsor, complete this application, and be selected for the program by a panel of senior executives from government and industry.
ACT-IAC Fellows
The ACT-IAC Fellows Program is an alumni association for the successful graduates of the Partner and Voyager programs. The Partner and Voyager programs identify promising executives and future leaders from both federal and private organizations. These programs foster career growth through the mentoring and developing of the participants as a significant part of their overall continual education.
