The American Council for Technology (ACT) - Industry Advisory Council (IAC) and the U.S. General Services Administration are jointly hosting Acquisition Excellence 2012 to provide a collaborative forum to discuss and develop actionable ideas on federal information technology (IT) acquisition, policy, and program management issues in this challenging budget environment. After GSA celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Interagency Resources Management Conference (IRMCO), it was decided to move to a one day, more focused format for the next generation of IRMCO.
- GSA selected ACT-IAC to serve as its trusted partner to jointly host the Acquisition Excellence 2012 with the goal of continuing the dialogue between government and industry on key issues surrounding federal IT acquisition, policy and program management. ACT-IAC is honored to have been selected to partner with GSA and its customers to develop this collaborative platform to focus on the critical issues of knowledge-based buying and selling, and strategic acquisition planning for government and industry. More than 500 government and industry executives are expected to attend this education and training program.
