Call for Volunteers 

Management of Change Conference (MOC) 2012 is now seeking Volunteers.  We realize your time is valuable and that your expertise can help generate exciting new content for the conference and for follow on exploration. 

The 2012 MOC will be held in Cambridge, Maryland at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay June 3 – 5, 2012.
We are seeking new volunteers desiring to grow with ACT-IAC as well as experienced volunteers.  Your eligibility is really dependent on your interest level and willingness to commit to supporting the event.   
 
Volunteers should be:  

  • Willing and able to participate in regularly scheduled monthly meetings(November – June)
  • Willing to work with the team on an ongoing basis to ensure success of the conference; this may require time outside of your current role or approval from your organization
  • Have expertise and experience participating in similar programs or activities
  • Have support of firm or agency
  • Able to work within ACT-IAC governance process
  • Willing to adhere to the ACT-IAC Code of Conduct


The 2012 MOC Planning Committee will be led by Industry Chair - Maria Horton (EmeSec Incorporated) and Government Chair - Angela Miller of the US Department of State. The team will be composed of several subcommittees of both government and industry representatives.  These subcommittees will be discussed at the Kickoff Meeting in December.  This meeting is currently planned for the afternoon of December 1, 2011

The information requested from volunteers shall be used solely for the purpose of evaluating applicants for participation in the identified program or activity.   The information will be treated as confidential and only distributed to those involved in the evaluation process who shall return the information to ACT-IAC at the conclusion of the evaluation process.  The information will be retained by ACT-IAC for sixty days after the completion of the evaluation process, after which it will be destroyed.  A summary of the final decisions will be retained by ACT-IAC.
