Panel Description: In today’s political climate, the President and the Congress is putting pressure on Agencies to insource contractor jobs, in particular those jobs involving acquisition. In response, OMB is providing new guidelines on what is inherently governmental. Join panel members as they debate whether or not to adjust the current approach to outsourcing and insourcing. Topics include examining possible impacts to agency mission and how to mitigate potential risk to high profile projects if the balance between outsourcing and insourcing is changed.
