How big is the conference this year?
The 2010 Management of Change Conference is a unique opportunity for collaboration between government and industry. This year, conference registration will be limited to 450 attendees. We believe that this small, more intimate size will allow for robust discussion of the issues presented during the sessions and ensure that attendees.
When and where is the conference?
The 2010 MOC Conference is being held May 23-25, 2010 at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in Philadelphia, PA.
How many slots will my company get for MOC in 2010?
There are 250 Industry slots available. Each member company will have the opportunity to register up to 3 attendees on a first come first served basis. Additionally, each company may place additional people on a wait list that will be released by lottery on May 7, 2010 on a space is available basis.
If my company sponsors MOC, will we receive additional attendance slots?
Additional MOC slots may be secured through conference sponsorship. The following shows the cost and number of attendance slots for each sponsorship level.

How can I attend MOC if I cannot secure one of my company slots?
Individuals may secure an additional slot for themselves, to be redeemed at the $995 fee, by recruiting two first time government attendees that reference them on their registration forms.
How will MOC Registration work this year?
Both government and industry registration will open Monday, March 15, 2010. The 2010 MOC conference registration will be limited to 450 attendees. Registration will be on a first come first served basis with each IAC member company participation capped at a maximum of 3 attendees. Additional registration slots may be secured through sponsorship.

Is there a wait list for 2010 MOC?
Yes. After a company’s 3 slots have already been taken, each member company will have the opportunity to add other attendees to a waitlist. A lottery will be run if registration is not full by May 7, 2010 and individuals will be taken off the waitlist on a space available basis. Once registration is full, the waitlist will be dissolved and no other attendees will be registered.
What is the dress policy?
The MOC dress code is business casual.
How can I make a hotel reservation?
Rooms at the Loews may be reserved through their online reservation system on a first come, first served basis. The group hotel registration link will be sent in your confirmation email after completing your registration for the conference.
What is the press policy?
All statements made in the plenary sessions are considered on the record. In order to promote frank and candid dialogue, between government and industry, the workshops are not for attribution. Please visit our MOC press room for the complete press policy.
Can my spouse attend MOC?
There is no spouse registration for 2010 MOC.
Can I share my badge with someone else?
We do not allow badge sharing or the practice of multiple attendees sharing a singe registration. We encourage each attendee to stay for the entire conference.
I am a plenary session speaker. Do I need to register?
Plenary speakers are asked to register for MOC, but are not required to pay a registration fee and does count toward their company slot allocation. Per ACT policy, plenary speakers are responsible for their lodging and transportation. Any reimbursement requests must be approved by the conference chairs.
I am an industry workshop speaker. Do I need to register?
Industry workshop speakers must register for MOC but do not count against their company slots and do not need to pay a registration fee is they are only attending the session at which they are speaking. If an industry speaker wishes to stay for more than their session, they must pay the partial registration fee of $395. Per ACT policy, industry speakers are responsible for their lodging and transportation. Any reimbursement requests must be approved by the conference chairs.
I am a government workshop speaker. Do I need to register?
Government workshop speakers must register for MOC but do not need to pay a registration fee if they are only attending the conference on the day they are speaking. We encourage government speakers to stay for the entire conference. In order to comply with government ethics guidelines, if a government speaker wishes to stay for more than the day of their session, they must pay a partial conference fee of $195. Per ACT policy, government speakers are responsible for their lodging and transportation. Any reimbursement requests must be approved by the conference chairs.
What is the registration policy for IAC Executive Committee and ACT Board members?
IAC Executive Committee members do not count against company slots. Both IAC Executive Committee and ACT Board members are responsible for conference fees and accommodations.
Do MOC Chairs and Vice Chairs pay to attend the conference and count against their company’s slots if they are from industry?
The MOC Chairs and Vice Chairs must pay to attend the conference. The Industry Chair and Vice Chair do not count against company slots but are responsible for conference fees and accommodations.
What is the registration policy for Planning Committee members?
MOC Planning Committee members are responsible for conference fees and accommodations, with industry members required to use one of their company slots.
I am an ACT-IAC Voyager. Do I need to register?
Voyager tuition includes the conference fee and 2 nights hotel accommodations. Voyager registration does not count against their company slots. Voyager slots are non transferable.
MOC Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made in writing and received by ACT-IAC before April 30, 2010 will be refunded less a $75 administrative fee. Cancellations must be submitted via email to MOCReg@actgov.org. Cancellations made after April 30, 2010 will be non-refundable but substitutions will be accepted. No shows will be charged the full registration fees. Please call (703) 208-4800 with any questions.
