Join IAC’s N&T SIG for a special program and discussion with Dennis Reimer, Director of IT Operations, National Protection and Programs Directorate, Department of Homeland Security on Tuesday, May 22 from 10 AM-Noon at CenturyLink in Arlington, VA. An N&T SIG business meeting will immediately follow. This program is off the record and not for attribution.
Mr. Reimer is currently the Director of IT Operations for the Department of Homeland Security, National Protection and Programs Directorate, Office of the Chief Information Officer. In his current role, Mr. Reimer’s oversight includes strategic planning, policy, capital planning, systems development, information security, enterprise architecture, and e-government. These operations and projects include the migration of the Federal Protective Service, operations planning and support as well as COOP operations. He began working for DHS in 2004 as a support contractor for the NPPD CIO, Operations division, and has been the IT Operations Director since January 2009.
