To Get Involved in ACT
Ø Become a member - government memberships are free - just create an account!
Ø Check out a committee meeting, program or conference. Register on line.
Ø Volunteer for a Shared Interest Group, Government Advisory Panel (to work with SIGs) or a conference planning committee.
Ø Nominate a government program for recognition in the Excellence.gov or Intergovernmental Solutions award programs.
Ø Nominate an up and coming individual on your staff for the Building a Public Service Legacy program.
Ø Apply for the Partners or Voyagers professional development programs.
Ø Participate in the development of the ACT annual Strategic IT Agenda.
Ø Identify a subject of interest to your organization that would be appropriate for the Government Speaker Series.
Ø Identify an IT issue on which you would like information or advice.
