SIG Review Survey: View Response #13

How familiar are you with IAC Special Interest Groups (SIGs)?

Somewhat

Do you participate in SIGs?  If so, why do you participate?  What do you see as the barriers to involvement in the SIGs?

Not as of yet.  I'm a new member.

Are the SIG addressing topics of interest to you?  What value do you derive? What additional value would you like to derive?

Not directly.  I would like to have regular interaction with government officials who oversee financial systems or control budgetary spending (i.e. OCFO's office).

Are there any other areas that the SIGs should address that would increase the value of the SIGs?

Do you recommend SIG participation to your colleagues?  If not, why and what would the SIGs have to offer for you to recommend SIG participation to your colleagues/organization?

Yes

What other thoughts/ideas would you like to share with us?

I would like to see more emphasis on FM LOB and/or UFMS.  It's on the President's agenda with visibility/accountability of significant concern when staring in the face of the all-time high Federal deficit.
