  1. Welcome by SIG Chair, Adelaide O'Brien, and Vice Chair, Mark Samblanet
  2. General Topics (Adelaide O'Brien)
    • Federal CIO speaking at Reagan Building tomorrow
    • Speaking request on the IAC financial system sustainment strategy by OMB and AGA
      • George indicatged that FM Committee is aware of this and will be following up
  3. Communications Chair Updates (Susan Becker)
    • GAP Members added to SIG Web Page
      • Consider GAP members for next year
  4. Programs Chair Update (Rachana Kulkarni)
    • Working with Health IT committee regarding March panel discussion
    • Preliminary discussions with Gene Schuman to be sponsor for IV&V
    • Coordinating with Joel on activities
  5. Vice Chair Meeting Summary (Mark Samblanet)
    • Institute for Innovation initiating Quadrennial Review (formerly Transition Studies)
      • Expect to announce governmance shortly
      • Want to create formal channel to SIGs
      • Will have Governance Board and Topical Leadres - any ideas?
    • Social Media
      • Hired Maria Guzman to head up effort
      • Provided training on what is planned, but I did not have computer access
      • Plan to use ACT-IAC group with topics
      • I do not fully understand the concept, but we need to be aware of it
    • ET SIG is holding Open Source discussions
    • ET SIG leading Discovery Mangement Zone (DMZ) to collaborate on ideas
    • Cloud Computing workgroup developing a Cloud Computing and Identity Management Whitepaper
  6. Internal Technology Committee Updates (Mark Samblanet)
    • 3 subcommittees:  Membership, WebDev, and Security
    • Working on metrics for success - key focus is to attract and retain members
    • Mark is liaison for SIG requirements
    • Need to make Sharepoint decision by end of 2012
    • Investigating web site design, mobile appls, knowledge management, social media
    • Preparatory work done - activities to kick off in January
  7. Small Business MatchMaker Events (Mark Samblanet)
    • Next workshop on January 11 at SERCO
    • Industry MatchMaker on January 26 at HP in Chantilly
    • Government Matchmaker on February 28 - details TBD
    • Small Busines Conference on May 7 - details TBD 
  8. Advanced Mobility Update (Rosemarie Franz)
    • Seeking ideas on potential projects from rest of SIG
  9. Committee Updates (based on content in Activity Matrix/Project List)
    • Applied Innovation (Maria Lee, Jay Jayamohan)
      • Challenges Project - pretty much wrapped up with panel event
      • Collaboration Platform Project
        • Met with Bill Barlow regarding DOD collaboration during emergency situation
        • Want to meet with others for information on non-DOD requirements
        • Trying to reach Alex Turrel
        • Trying to reach Susan Swart
        • Defining framework for project
        • Evaluating several paths to narrow scope
    • Information Sharing (Fiona Barshow, Laura Thibodeaux, Jonathan Addelston)
      • Continuing work with Michael Howell on ISE
      • Will be addressing some new projects in January meeting
      • DOD CIO office regarding identity management
      • PM ISE intresested in ensuring that informaton sharing can work on any device
      • Participated in December 5 conference with ISE
    • Advanced Mobility (Rosemarie Franz) - part of Information Sharing Committee (see item 4 above)

      • Sustainment project - project paper under development for AGA conference in January
      • Members from original workgroup now part of committee
      • Loans and Collateral Project - expect to become active

      • Working on details for panel discussion - need to resolve date based on calendars of key players 
      • Dr. Ondra is sponsor
      • Coordinating with Programs Committee for logistics and outreach
      • Target is early March
    • IV&V Committee  (Michael Callihan, Matthew Adamowicz)
      • Sponsor is Melissa Ash, NRC - met on December 14 - more followup planned
