Volunteer Corps is Now Accepting
2012 Leadership Applications
The ACT-IAC Volunteer Corps is seeking Chairs and Vice Chairs from government and industry to help organize and lead the 2012 ACT-IAC Volunteer Corps program.
Chair and Vice Chair commitment is minimal, as follows:
· 6 hours a month focusing mainly on planning and organizing the volunteer events (includes approximately 6 Volunteer Corps events per year).
· 90-minute kickoff meeting at the beginning of the program in March, 2012.
· 90-minute planning meeting with incoming Chairs/Vice Chairs which will take place in February of the next calendar year (2013).

Volunteer Corps Mission
The Volunteer Corps is a government/industry volunteer charity program established to provide ACT-IAC membership resources for the benefit of the community at-large. The mission of the Volunteer Corps is to provide manpower-based and skills-based volunteerism to support charitable organizations and functions in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The Corps aims to build a culture of social responsibility and community by leveraging the leadership and activism of our ACT-IAC members and by giving back to the community.
